Dr. Yavari
Dr. Yavari is a board-certified pediatric dentist with an outstanding experience in the treatment of babies with tongue tie/lip tie.
Dr. Yavari graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry. He then completed a one-year program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston Medical Center where he gained extensive experience in performing intraoral surgeries. He completed his postgraduate training in pediatric dentistry at NYU Langone Dental Medicine. Dr. Yavari is currently practicing as a pediatric dentist with a focus on treating babies with oral anomalies including tongue tie/lip tie. He performs full mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia, treating patients with special needs, and pediatric patients with syndromes and dentofacial deformities such as cleft lip and palate and tongue/lip tie. He also teaches at NYU Langone Dental Medicine.
Dr. Yavari uses the LightScalpel CO2 laser for the frenectomy procedure which allows a safe and quick procedure with minimal bleeding and post-op discomfort. He emphasizes his treatment in a multi-specialty environment including a lactation consultant, myofunctional therapist, and chiropractor.
Dr. Yavari is a fellow “international Collage Dentist” and an active member of “American Association of Pediatric Dentistry” and “Massachusetts Association of Pediatric Dentistry”, and “Academy of Laser Dentistry”. He prides himself on staying very organized in both his personal and professional life, which allows him to focus on providing optimal dental care for his patients.
